It’s an eyesore and a hazard. I would love to see a park in its place!

I’m in favor of fixing this thing rather than taking it down, simply because I feel like it would take less time to repair than build something completely new. People who would like to keep arguing about this obviously don’t drive on it everyday. Those of us who drive on it everyday do so with the fear that today is the day we die because Seattlites wasted years arguing and voting on what to do. But we also dread the inevitable closure, and that’s why I would opt for a quick (but hopefully reliable) remedy.

The Viaduct allows the general public the most awesome view of the city’s skyline driving northbound. It’s totally unmatchable, and it’s free.
