    Should do this

I’ve seen some spray-painted lines on the edge of a few streets around the city, even with a simple spray-painted “bike lane” icon. Looks like they’re the templates for upcoming new bike lanes?

    They were on:

    • Yesler Way
    • Western Ave
    • NE 75th St

So some progress is being made

    Should do this

40th Street westbound between Latona and Wallingford is a dangerous street to bike on: uphill on a narrow single lane with no parking and four bus routes sharing the street. The city could easily develop 41st St., which is just as wide and has no traffic, as a bike-safe alternative.

    Should do this 2 cheers

I saw an article in GOOD magazine that showed bike lanes in Denmark. They are between the curb and the parking strip, which protects cyclists and encourages more people to bike to work.

    Should do this

The City of Seattle has a Bicycle Master Plan that needs implementing. It needs community support to avoid widdling away of the plan by narrow minded merchants as written up here .
